Bashar Melhem is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the gas and powertrain industries. Currently serving as a Gas Strategist and Digital Transformation & Technology Lead for Gas Operations at Aramco since December 2013, Bashar has previously held roles including Project Manager and Innovation & Technology Lead. Prior to Aramco, Bashar spent nearly nine years at Navistar Inc, progressing from Sr Project Engineer to Design Manager in Powertrain Product Development, where responsibilities included leading teams in product design and development. Earlier experience includes positions at General Motors and Axis, Inc., focusing on project engineering and finite element analysis. Bashar holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Jordan.
