Conor McNamee is an experienced project manager currently with Saudi Aramco since March 2016. Prior to this role, Conor served as Commercial Manager for EirGrid from June 2008 to March 2016, managing commercial capacity auctions for the East West Interconnector, a 500 MW HVDC link connecting Irish and UK national grids. Conor also held positions as Senior Lead Engineer and Senior Protection Engineer, overseeing cable asset management and the maintenance of disturbance recorders within the HV transmission network. Conor's educational background includes a Chartered Engineer designation from Engineers Ireland and a mechanical engineering degree from Technological University Dublin, supplemented by an extended industrial introduction in wind turbines from the Engineering College of Aarhus and a law certificate from Harvard University.
