Harun Ates is an internationally recognized Petroleum Engineering Consultant with extensive experience in reservoir engineering and management. Previously, Ates served as Reservoir Technologies Manager and Principal Consultant at Kelkar & Associates, Inc., contributing to over 20 significant projects worldwide and generating a US patent. Ates also held various leadership roles at BP, where contributions to RESQML data standards and toolkits positively impacted the oil and gas industry. Currently, Ates continues to provide consultancy services at Aramco while having advised Devon Energy on enhancing the performance of unconventional assets. Ates holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
