Jon Nelson is a Lead Instructional Designer currently employed at Aramco, where they oversee the in-house development of virtual and instructor-led training and supervise a team of instructional designers, technical writers, and graphic artists. With extensive experience in instructional design and software development, Jon previously worked at Saudi Aramco as an Instructional Designer/Trainer, designing upstream technical training. They also held various roles at Utah State University, where they gained foundational skills as a ColdFusion developer and instructional designer from 2001 to 2007. Jon holds a BS in Political Science, an MS in Instructional Technology, and is working on a PhD in Instructional Design at Utah State University.
