Michael Salmon is an experienced technology commercialisation specialist currently with Saudi Aramco since October 2015, focusing on corporate technology strategy, R&D portfolio management, and the commercialisation of in-house technologies. Prior to this role, Michael worked as an independent consultant and interim manager, conducting due diligence for a private equity firm in the Middle East and serving as a non-executive chairman for an IT start-up from April 2010 to October 2015. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as a business development manager at Shell from February 2002 to May 2010, where responsibilities included optimising supply chain networks and managing a blending plant divestment.
