Mohammed Kamel serves as a High-Performance Computing and Gridding Scientist with the Strategic Modeling Technologies (SMT) Team at Aramco Americas since September 2025. Concurrently, Mohammed Kamel is a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Notre Dame and holds leadership roles within the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) as Chair of the Computational Environments Subcommittee and Senior Member of both the Meshing, Visualization & Computational Environments Technical Committee and Society and Aerospace Technology Outreach Committee. Mohammed Kamel's previous experience includes roles as a Senior R&D Engineer and Software Developer II at Ansys from August 2017 to August 2025, a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame from 2010 to 2017, and an Assistant Lecturer at Cairo University from 2006 to 2010. Mohammed Kamel earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Cairo University.
