Shivakanth Sujit

Shivakanth Sujit is currently a Deep RL Researcher at Araya, focusing on enhancing sample efficiency and robustness in deep reinforcement learning for real-world applications. Shivakanth previously held roles at Microsoft Research and Mila, where they worked on various projects related to offline reinforcement learning, representation learning, and evaluation methodologies. They completed a Master’s in Computer Science at Mila after earning a Bachelor’s in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Their research contributions have been published in notable venues like NeurIPS and TMLR, and they have collaborated with teams from DeepMind and Microsoft Research. Through their work, Shivakanth aims to merge the capabilities of large language models with reinforcement learning to create advanced learning systems.
