Harry Ng

Harry Ng is a Staff Blockchain Engineer at Offchain Labs since 2022, recognized as an initial builder of Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup designed to enhance app scalability while maintaining Ethereum's security. Responsibilities include developing Solidity smart contracts that secure over US$9 billion in total value locked (TVL) and conducting code reviews, audits, and bug hunting across the stack. In addition, Harry serves as a Judge in the Pro League for Code4rena, where performance in smart contract auditing has led to the identification of 33 high severity and 82 medium severity bugs as of March 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Quant at Epiphany Asset Management (2018-2022) and a Quantitative Trader at Penjing Asset Management (2016-2018). Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Risk Management Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an exchange program at the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University.
