Igor Stankevich

Igor Stankevich has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Igor is currently the Managing Director of Climate Risk at Arbol since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Quantitative Developer in Research at Arbol from October 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Arbol, Igor worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Toptal from April 2020 to September 2020. Igor also had a significant tenure at Citadel, where they held various roles including Non-compete from October 2019 to April 2020, Senior Quantitative Developer from April 2017 to October 2019, and Senior Software Engineer from April 2016 to April 2017.

Their earlier experiences include working as an R&D Technical Lead at Technoserv Consulting from May 2014 to March 2016, Research and Development Lead at Techno-Traffic from January 2011 to March 2014, and Quantitative Developer in Research at FX AI Investments Inc. from June 2006 to December 2010.

Igor's career started as an Intern/Researcher/Developer/Team Lead at RPGServ at Akella from April 2002 to May 2008.

Igor Stankevich pursued their education in a chronological order. Starting from 2020 to 2022, they completed MITx Courses and obtained a MITx MicroMasters degree in Finance. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the Russian University of Humanities and earned a Master's degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science. Further back, between 1998 and 2004, they studied at Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University), obtaining a Master's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. Additionally, Igor has obtained various certifications including an AWS Solutions Architect-Associate from Amazon Web Services, several MITx MicroMasters certificates in Finance and related subjects, as well as certifications from edX in Artificial Intelligence and Introduction to Computer Science and Programming, among others.
