Blake S.

Blake S. has a robust background in forestry and timber procurement, with experience at various organizations in the industry. Starting as a Forest Technician at Southern Timber Solutions, Blake assisted in timber sales, marking trees in line with silvicultural goals. At International Paper, roles included Fiber Supply Intern and Procurement Representative, with responsibilities such as purchasing roundwood and leading safety teams. Blake further developed expertise as a Procurement Forester and Lead Procurement Forester at Interfor. Currently, Blake serves as a Reforestation Advisor at ArborGen while pursuing an Associate's degree in Industrial Wood Processing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, following a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from the University of Georgia. Additional experiences include outreach roles at the Warnell School of Forestry and as a Student Ambassador at the University of Georgia.
