Weiming Wang

Weiming Wang possesses extensive experience in the field of plant biotechnology, with a focus on in vitro technology and cell banking. From April 2010 to April 2019, Weiming served as Director at ArborGen, overseeing advancements in cell line development, cryo-preservation, and the automation of embryo manufacturing. Prior to this role, Weiming was Associate Director at ArborGen, leading varietal manufacturing processes and R&D. Previous positions include Associate Director of Cell Banking at DPT Laboratories, where Weiming contributed to natural product development for wound healing, and Associate Director at Phyton Biotech, specializing in cryobiology and the production of human recombinant proteins. Weiming's career began at J. D. Irving Limited, focusing on conifer somatic embryogenesis and germplasm conservation.
