Ryan Zuppe has held various roles in the technology industry since 2006. In 2006, they were the Technology Committee Captain for Penn State Dance Marathon (Thon), where they were responsible for the continued development of Thon's information network and database. In 2007, they were an IT Services Intern for Leadership Centre County, where they utilized MS Access's virtual database in migrating database infrastructure and maintained the organization's website, hardware, and social networking efforts. In 2008, they were a Technical Support Intern for Exelon Power Team, providing hardware and software support for middle and upper management. In 2009, they were a QA Lead for Unisys, leading team testing activities with a healthcare eligibility service and conducting functional and performance testing for a law enforcement message switch. From 2015 to 2020, they were a QA Automation Engineer for EAB (formerly Cappex), making automated scripts in a growing Java-based test suite on Selenium Grid. Since 2020, they have been a Sr QA Automation Engineer for ArborMetrix, using Selenium and TestNG frameworks to verify ReactJS webpage-based and api-based functionality and integrating automation reporting with ExtentReports and visual tests using AShot.
Ryan Zuppe obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Sciences & Technology from Penn State University between 2005 and 2009. In 2004, they attended the Pennsylvania Governor's School for Information Technology at Drexel University and completed coursework in programming, object-oriented design, databases, swarm theory, and information ethics. Ryan also holds a ISTQB Certified Tester certification from the Quality Assurance Testing Certification, obtained in September 2013, and a Pi Lambda Phi Scholarship Key.
