Jon Hartley

Jon Hartley is a seasoned arboricultural professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Arboriculturist and Employee Development Lead at ARBTECH since December 2013, Jon has progressed through various roles, including Senior Arboriculturist and Arboricultural Consultant. Responsibilities include producing arboricultural implications assessments and managing surveys for planning applications in accordance with BS5837:2012 standards. Previously, Jon held positions at Arbor Operations Pty Ltd as Senior Consulting Arborist and Level 4 Arborist, as well as Senior Foreman and Foreman at County Tree Surgeons Ltd. Jon's foundational experience began as a Climbing Arborist at Simon Lackford Tree Serve. Jon's academic credentials include a BSc(Hons) in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry, as well as various diplomas and certificates in arboriculture from multiple institutions.
