The ARC Hub for ICT is dedicated to driving digital transformation in healthcare, education, infrastructure, sustainability and data management in Ireland by providing critical support for translating ideas into market-ready products and services. Hosted in TU Dublin with a collaborative team of researchers from 11 research institutions across Ireland, the Hub seeks to close the gap between academic ICT research and the goal of innovation and entrepreneurial activity. The Hub is part of Research Ireland’s flagship Accelerating Research to Commercialisation (ARC) Programme.

The Hub leverages three strategic support bases: 
• Entrepreneurial Training and Networking: Equipping researchers with the skills and connections needed to commercialise their ideas. 
• Technical and Project Management Development Supports: Providing essential resources and expertise for the successful execution of impactful projects. 
• Commercialisation Supports: Facilitating the transformation of research outcomes into viable market solutions.
 
Research is focussed on five key pillars with significant growth potential, each poised to benefit from advancements in AI:

• Sustainable & Environmental Management
