David Wang

David Wang is a data engineering professional currently serving as a Data Engineering Developer at ARC Resources Ltd. since October 2022, previously working as a Jr Cloud Data Developer. Prior experience includes a role as Data Analyst/Data Scientist at Cenozon Inc. from September 2020 to October 2022, where David supported pipeline clients and developed data management solutions. David's earlier career includes significant contributions as a Research Geologist and Geochemist at the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, PetroChina from September 2009 to April 2017, participating in key research projects and providing vital support for exploration strategies. Educationally, David Wang is pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics at the University of Calgary and holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Structural Geology and Geological and Earth Sciences from Peking University and Hefei University of Technology, respectively.
