Jim Watson has a long history of work experience. In 1977, they began as the Chief Mechanic for the James Gang Racing Team. In 1985, they moved to Weldcraft Products, Inc. as the Director of Manufacturing. During their time there, they built a team of young, competitive and creative folks that shared a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and the company gained a 60% world-wide market share. In 1994, Jim moved to DovaTech, LTD. as a Product Manager, where they managed the Weldcraft TIG and Plazcraft Plasma Arc Welding and cutting brands, and developed and patented an innovative TIG product line. In 1997, they founded and became the CEO of Arc-Zone.com, Inc., where they set the overall Vision and Strategy of the company, recruited and retained the best talent, and made sure there was always enough cash in the bank.

Jim Watson attended Claremont High School prior to enrolling at Los Angeles Valley College, where they studied Mechanical Engineering from 1978 to 1980. Jim then attended Pasadena City College from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Welding Engineering Technology/Technician. In 1997, they attended UCSD Connect to learn about How to Start & Manage a High-Tech Company, and also attended the Small Business Development Council to learn about How to Start & Grow a Company.
