Paul Needham is the CEO of Arca, a carbon mineralization company dedicated to removing excess CO₂ from the atmosphere and transforming it into rocks to combat climate change. With over 20 years of experience, they co-founded Simpa Networks, which became Asia's largest rural rooftop solar leasing company, providing clean energy solutions to 250,000 people in rural India. They also co-chair the D-REC Initiative, aimed at creating a global market for distributed renewable energy. Currently, Paul is engaged with several organizations, including Powertrust and the Venture Builder Foundation, focused on maximizing the impact of renewable energy initiatives. Paul holds a PhD (incomplete) in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
