Roberto Flecchia

Mechatronic Engineer at ARCA

Roberto Flecchia has extensive work experience in engineering and design roles. Roberto started working at ARCA Worldwide in 1985 as a Mechatronic Engineer, where they were responsible for developing sensors and testing systems for the recognition of banknotes. Roberto also researched and benchmarked solutions for banknote, coin, and check processing.

In 1985, Roberto also started working at CTS - group as an Electromechanical Designer. During their tenure, they led a team in designing and verifying electromechanical systems such as motors, actuators, and print heads. Roberto also designed reading systems with magnetic and optical sensors for OCR, barcode, and CIS readers. In addition, they designed and verified various types of sensors for material presence, such as photo sensors and ultrasonic sensors. Roberto also had experience in designing and obtaining approval from the Italian Ministry for the new electronic ID card. Roberto worked at CTS - group until January 2015.

Roberto Flecchia completed their secondary education at IPSIA Biella (BI) from 1979 to 1984. Roberto obtained a diploma in Perito Elettrotecnico, specializing in Electrical Engineering.
