Managing Director, Value Creation & Operations at Arcadea Group

Ryan Beaver has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as the Managing Director of Value Creation & Operations at Arcadea Group starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FAME as the General Manager from March 2021 to June 2022, where they successfully developed a comprehensive strategy, expanded organic growth and profitability, and designed a down market initiative. From 2019 to 2021, Ryan served as the Vice President of Operations at Altair Software, where they developed the MyHousing product suite and drove annual revenue to $400K through custom programming business models. At Emphasys Software, they held multiple roles, including Director of Software Development (PHA) from August 2013 to February 2019 and Senior Software Developer from 2004 to 2013. Notably, they managed development teams, grew the team size, and led architecture and design study efforts. Additionally, Ryan worked as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern Michigan College from 2009 to 2016, focusing on industry-focused curriculum development and reinforcing Agile development methodologies. Ryan started their career as a Software Developer at Salamander Technologies, Inc. from 2001 to 2004, where they played a key role in creating command modules and spearheading the redesign of an emergency service resource tracking application.

Ryan Beaver has a Masters of Science degree in Managing Innovation and Information Technology from Champlain College, which they obtained between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors of Computer Information Systems at Ferris State University from 1999 to 2002, with a focus on software development, business, and management. Ryan also attended Northwestern Michigan College from 1997 to 1999, where they studied computer science. Ryan also holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer from Microsoft.
