Founded in 1981 to combat the impact of shrinking federal and state funding for California public schools, the Arcadia Educational Foundation (AEF) has spent over four decades partnering with the Arcadia Unified School District (AUSD) to ensure every student receives an exceptional education. Through community-driven support and strategic fundraising, AEF champions resources and programs that spark student success and expand opportunity.

Each year, AEF operates the Summer School Program, serving more than a thousand students, and awards $25,000 in grants to inspire innovation in classrooms and community projects. We also maintain the district’s communication system to keep families connected and help fund critical teaching positions to sustain strong instruction in the face of budget cuts.

Led by passionate parents and community members, AEF thrives through the support of dedicated donors, volunteers, and partners. Together, we’re not just strengthening schools — we’re shaping the future of Arcadia’s next generation.
