Chuck Deane

Chuck Deane is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Arcadia Publishing since March 2021, Chuck oversees sales to independent bookstores, gift stores, and various organizations. Previously, Chuck held the position of Director of Sales, Retail at Sourcebooks, where significant sales growth occurred with the company's largest account, Amazon. Prior to that role, Chuck spent nearly two decades at Wiley, advancing through positions including Vice President of Sales for Channel Partners, managing a substantial revenue portfolio across the Americas. Earlier in Chuck's career, relevant roles at IDG and Macmillan Publishing focused on national accounts, building a robust foundation in sales management. Chuck's educational background includes a BS in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University and studies at Flagler College.
