Bas Bierens

Bas Bierens is an experienced leader in the field of water management and climate adaptation, currently serving as the Head of the Water & Climate Adaptation Advisory Group at Arcadis since January 2008. Bierens has held several positions within Arcadis, including Project Leader and Program Manager for Urban Water, demonstrating a deep expertise in climate adaptation, groundwater, water quality, hydrology, hydraulics, and water technology. Prior to Arcadis, Bierens worked as a Water Manager for Waterschap Brabantse Delta from August 2005 to April 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental and Nature Sciences from Radboud University and engineering degrees in Environmental Technology from both HAS Green Academy and Avans University of Applied Sciences.
