Blanka Bracic, MSc P.Eng, is a passionate public space and mobility leader currently serving as the Discipline Lead for Active Transportation and New Mobility in Western Canada at Arcadis. Previously, they held various leadership roles with the City of Calgary, including Manager of Liveable Streets, where they oversaw teams responsible for implementing programs for walking, cycling, and micromobility. Blanka's extensive educational background includes multiple master's degrees in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Calgary. They have a strong commitment to creating resilient public spaces and enhancing urban quality of life through effective governance, team leadership, and community engagement.
