Gary Weir

Gary Weir is a Technical Director and Head of Profession - Signalling at Arcadis, bringing over 31 years of railway engineering experience. They have a comprehensive background in signalling design principles and engineering safety management, having worked extensively in managing cross-discipline interfaces. Previously, Gary held various roles including Senior Signalling Design Engineer at First Engineering and Lead Signalling Design Engineer at Network Rail. They are a member of the IRSE and qualified as a Workplace Assessor and Competence Assessor for the IRSE licensing scheme.
