George Flower

George Flower is a seasoned professional in the field of GeoScience with extensive experience that spans over three decades. Currently serving as Technical Director of GeoScience at Arcadis since 2014, George has successfully designed and delivered multi-phased site investigations for clients such as Magnox and TfL, contributing to significant environmental impact assessments. Prior to Arcadis, George was a Technical Director at Hyder Consulting, where a project won two awards at the UK’s Brownfield Briefing Awards in 2013 for innovative in-situ remediation techniques. Earlier career roles include Geotechnical Engineer at Ward Ashcroft and Parkman, focusing on ground investigations and risk assessments, as well as Engineering Geologist at Geotechnics Limited, overseeing drilling and geological assessments. George holds a Master of Science in Foundation Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology & Geotechnics from the University of Portsmouth.
