Hanbae Yang, PhD, PE, is a Senior Water Engineer and Project Manager at Arcadis, where they lead design and project management initiatives. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Project Engineer at IBI Group, gaining extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment systems. Hanbae's earlier work includes researching textile wastewater treatment systems at Georgia Institute of Technology and developing innovative bioretention systems during their doctoral studies at The Ohio State University. They also have a background as a Medical Laboratory Specialist in the Republic of Korea Army and worked as an Environmental Engineer at ABS Materials, Inc., where they led stormwater management projects.
