James P. Cooper, PE, is a dedicated advocate for innovation in the water sector, currently serving as the Global Director for Water Optimization at Arcadis. With an Executive Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they are recognized for their expertise as the principal author of the fourth edition of the American Water Works Association’s M32 Computer Modeling of Water Distribution Systems. James has held various leadership roles, including Chair of multiple committees within the American Water Works Association and serves on the advisory board for Baywork.
