Joseph Marrone is an accomplished professional in coastal resiliency and engineering with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as Associate Vice President and Area Lead for Urban and Coastal Resiliency at Arcadis since March 2017, Joseph provides technical expertise and project management for innovative coastal resiliency projects. Prior to this role, Joseph was Chief Project Manager at COWI North America, where responsibilities included overseeing project and client management, leading the Renewable Energy Market Sector, and serving as Connecticut Operations Manager. Joseph also held positions as Project Director and Vice President, focusing on waterfront and coastal engineering projects, including flood protection and offshore wind energy development. Joseph's career began at Appledore Engineering as a Project Manager, specializing in underwater inspections and waterfront design. Joseph holds an MS in Ocean Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture.
