Kate Lunt

Kate Lunt is a Technical Director at Arcadis, where they have been leading the Railway Civil Engineering discipline since 2023. Lunt was recognized as the Best Woman Rail Engineer in 2023 by the European Women in Construction and Engineering (WICE) and became a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE) in September 2022. They held various engineering roles, including HS2 C2C3 Structures Design Team Leader from 2017 to 2023 and Senior Engineer positions at WYG Engineering and Hyder Consulting, maintaining a focus on railway projects throughout their career. They earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Durham in 2005 and became a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in June 2010.
