Kees de Vries is a seasoned water management consultant with extensive experience in analyzing and designing solutions for water-related issues in urban development and regional water resources. Since December 1999, Kees has been with ARCADIS, serving as a senior consultant. Previous roles include senior specialist in water management at Alliantie Markermeerdijken and senior advisor for water management at the National Water Directorate in Mozambique, where responsibilities included flood warning systems and hydrometry. Early career positions featured work as a hydrologist with the World Meteorological Organization and as a researcher in urban water management at Wageningen University. Kees holds an Ir. degree in Land and Water Management from Wageningen University & Research.
