Martijn Blankestijn

Martijn Blankestijn is a Senior Consultant in Area Development at Arcadis since January 2024, focusing on improving quality of life through the creation of healthy and sustainable living environments. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Advisor in Sustainable Area Development at Arcadis | Over Morgen from September 2021 to December 2023, Project and Area Developer at Heijmans Vastgoed from February 2016 to August 2021, and Project Leader and Development Manager at Havensteder from September 2006 to February 2016. Martijn's career began at EGM Architecten BV as an Architectural Draftsman from July 2005 to August 2006. Martijn holds a Master of Science in Management of Urban Area Development from the Master City Developer program and a Bachelor’s degree in Building Engineering with a minor in Architecture from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, along with an Atheneum diploma in Nature & Technology.
