Michael Beckert is an accomplished architect and project manager with a diverse background in design and project leadership. Founder of Atelier Michael Beckert from April 2003 to January 2009, Michael later served as Project Partner at COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Wolf D. Prix & Partner from February 2009 to June 2013 and held various roles at Snøhetta, including Director and Project Manager from October 2014 to January 2020. After leading consultancy efforts at Drees & Sommer from December 2020 to April 2024, Michael currently works as Project & Design Manager at Arcadis and has recently founded OpenLandscape.Studio in April 2024. Michael's academic background includes a Diplom in Architecture from Technische Universität Dresden, an Erasmus year at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a focus on Drawing and Painting from Dresden University of Fine Arts.
