Michael Lam

Michael Lam is an experienced project manager currently working at Arcadis within the Arcadis Setec Cowi design joint venture, focusing on delivering the C2 section of the HS2 Phase 1 route. Michael has a strong background in managing complex stakeholder relationships, contractual agreements, and change processes, with previous experience at WSP in the UK, where NEC contract administration was handled for National Highways. Before that, Michael served as an Assistant Project Manager at High Speed Two Ltd, managing key contractual relationships and fulfilling Principal Designer responsibilities. With expertise dating back to 2004 in various engineering roles, including Permanent Way Designer positions, Michael has gained extensive experience in railway and highway infrastructure projects. Michael holds an MSc in Project Management from The University of Manchester and a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
