Rob Steijn

Rob Steijn has an extensive career in coastal resilience and flood climate risk management, currently serving as a senior project manager and team lead at Arcadis since October 1996. Rob's roles at Arcadis include Director of International Development Projects, Business Director of Water & Environment, and Director of River, Coast & Sea, where a strong focus is placed on sustainable water management strategies. Additionally, Rob holds leadership positions with the Netherlands Water Partnership, contributing to international water solutions, and leads the Dutch Government's Risk Reduction team, providing expert support to countries facing significant water threats. With academic credentials from Delft University of Technology, Rob possesses dual M.Sc. degrees in Coastal Engineering and Civil Engineering, further enriched by prior experience at notable organizations such as Alkyon Hydraulic Consultancy & Research and WL | Delft Hydraulics.
