Robert Stevenson has extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, currently serving as Principal in Charge for Arcadis Engineering since September 2007, overseeing operations in the Detroit and Toledo offices while directing business development in southern Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Prior to this, Robert was the Director of the Toledo Waterways Initiative from 2006 to 2007, managing a $455 million rehabilitation project mandated by a federal consent decree. Robert's earlier roles at the City of Toledo included Director of Public Utilities from 1992 to 2005, where oversight was provided for a large department with significant financial responsibilities, and Commissioner of Treatment Services, handling the management of water and wastewater treatment plants. Robert holds a degree from The University of Toledo, earned between 1971 and 1976.
