Ruth Platt

Ruth Platt is a Technical Director at Arcadis, a position held since 2019, following an earlier role as Associate Technical Director from 2017 to 2019. Prior to Arcadis, Ruth served as Technical Director at Jacobs from 2007 to 2012, where they led significant infrastructure projects, including the Manchester Metrolink extensions. Additionally, Ruth was an Associate at Atkins from 2012 to 2017, where they focused on best practices in the Rail Engineering team and managed complex design schemes. Ruth earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Science with a specialization in civil engineering from Keble College, Oxford University, in 1999.
