Sam Oakley is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in ground investigation and engineering geology. Currently serving as a Senior Ground Investigation Consultant at Arcadis since December 2020, Sam has held several key positions in the industry, including Senior Engineer and Engineer at CGL (Card Geotechnics Limited) from July 2017 to December 2020, and Engineering Geologist at Geotechnical Engineering Limited from July 2015 to July 2017. Earlier career experience includes a role as Mine Technician Sampler at Wolf Minerals Limited and a summer internship as a Student Mining Geologist at Barrick Gold Corporation in 2011. Sam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geology with Physical Geography from Keele University, completed in 2013, and received a high school education at Wrekin College.
