Thomas Coar is an Associate Technical Director with extensive experience in surveying and mapping science. Having graduated from Newcastle University, Thomas began their career at Malcolm Hughes Land Surveyors, where they developed foundational skills as a Junior Land Surveyor. They progressed to Site Surveying Services as a Senior Land Surveyor, where they honed their organizational and quality assurance skills. From 2013 to 2018, Thomas served as North Survey Manager and Lead BIM Surveyor at Amey, focusing on laser scanning surveys and 3D modeling. Currently, they are furthering their expertise as a BIM Surveyor at Amey and are working towards full ICES chartership.
