Jasmina Aganovic

Jasmina Aganovic is the CEO at Arcaea and was previously an Entrepreneur In Residence at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. from November 2019 to July 2021. Aganovic's goal at Ginkgo Bioworks is to harness microbes for use in the personal care industry in order to fuel a future with new types of ingredients and products. Prior to their time at Ginkgo Bioworks, Aganovic was the Brand Founder & President of Mother Dirt from July 2015 to October 2019. At Mother Dirt, Aganovic created biome-friendly products for the skin, including the AO+Mist, which is a product containing live Ammonia-Oxidizing Bacteria (AOB). Aganovic was also the General Manager of Consumer Products at AoBiome from July 2014 to October 2017.

Jasmina Aganovic has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
