Most businesses do some marketing, but few have a strong, coherent marketing strategy. A marketing strategist needs to see the big picture. This includes factors like competition, demographics, pricing, positioning, packaging, behavioral variables, social media, etc. These factors apply to both B2C and B2B marketing.
