John Bowman

John Bowman is an experienced educator and training specialist currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Doral Academy of Nevada since 2022. Prior to this role, John served in the US Navy as an Information System Technician focused on Underseas Fire Control Systems and as a Chief Intelligence Specialist from December 1994 to March 2008. In the training sector, John has worked with Arcata Associates, Inc. since December 2018 as a Training Facilitator, supporting Talent Development programs for over 475 employees across multiple states. Additionally, John has held positions as a Training Development Specialist with National Security Technologies, LLC, and Mission Support and Test Services, LLC, where John developed safety and skills training programs for over 2,500 employees at the Department of Energy's Nevada National Security Site. John holds an Associate of Arts in History from Excelsior College, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Washington, and is pursuing a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
