In 1985, they transitioned to Sam Luddington & Co, CPA's as a Certified Public Accountant, where they prepared tax returns and financial statements and managed their IT area. Later that same year, they joined ArcBest Corporation as a Supervisor in Carrier Accounting. Donald held various roles at ArcBest Corporation, including Director of Cash Management and Vice President of Treasury. Donald has notable experience in finance, accounting, and managing IT departments.
Donald Pearson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arkansas in the years 1976-1980. Donald later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the same university from 1990-1994. Alongside their education, Donald obtained additional certifications which include Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals in 1999, and Certified Public Accountant from the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1984.
