Reed Mitchell

Reed Mitchell is a Senior Scientist at Arcellx, Inc. since September 2019, focusing on the discovery and optimization of tumor antigen binding domains and the development of protein engineering techniques. Prior experience includes a Research Associate III role at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where supervision and high-throughput biosurveillance of arthropod vectors and pathogens were performed using advanced molecular biology techniques. Reed also served as a Research Technician at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, designing experiments related to orthopaedic disorders and stem cell reactions. As a Master’s student at Auburn University, Reed investigated osmoregulation in crustacean gills, resulting in three publications. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from Auburn University and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
