Weini Wang

Weini Wang is a Scientist II at Arcellx since November 2024, previously serving as a Scientist in Product Characterization and Analytical Development at Sana Biotechnology, Inc., from May 2022 to October 2024, focusing on cell-based functional assay development for cell and gene therapies. Weini Wang completed a Ph.D. in Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology at Indiana University Bloomington, where extensive experience was gained in RNA interference, lentiviral process development, and analytical testing from August 2016 to April 2022. Prior experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where plasmid preparation and lentiviral production for gene perturbation were key responsibilities. Weini Wang holds dual bachelor's degrees in Medicine (Medical Imaging) and Psychology from Southern Medical University, completed between 2009 and 2014.
