Eric Vallar has extensive experience in automotive engineering and management, currently serving as the CTO AMTP Automotive Europe at ArcelorMittal since June 2008, where responsibilities include overseeing the technical direction for automotive products across Europe. Previous roles at ArcelorMittal include Technical Director for automotive components in France, managing three plants, and leading product and process development for the Tubular Product Automotive division. Prior to this, Vallar worked at Delphi Steering from September 1995 to June 2008, holding various managerial positions, including Product Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Eric Vallar began a career in manufacturing and maintenance at companies such as Polygram Manufacturing and Philips Lighting, starting with a Bachelor’s degree from INSA Lyon from 1982 to 1985.
