Federico Amos is the CEO of ArcelorMittal Acindar and ArcelorMittal Costa Rica. They report to the EVP/CEO of Central and South America Long Carbon & Mining and are responsible for the Argentinean and Costa Rica business units. The scope includes more than eight plant operations, 1.7 million tons per year of crude steel capacity, six rolling mills and wires operations units, and more than 2,800 employees. They earned an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, an MBA from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, and a Leadership Certificate from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. They also serve as Vicepresidente of the Cámara Argentina del Acero and of the Fundación Acindar, and as Presidente of CAMBRAS.
