Gabriel Cusu

Gabriel Cusu currently serves as the AMDS Segment Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ArcelorMittal since February 2023. Prior to this role, Gabriel was a Security Program Executive at Secureworks from March 2018 to January 2023, overseeing security governance at the executive level and managing multiple security programs across diverse industry sectors. Gabriel's experience includes a significant tenure at Ericsson from March 2013 to March 2018, where responsibilities escalated from Network Engineer to Managed Services Delivery Manager, overseeing service delivery, operational improvements, and resource management across global locations. Earlier positions included Network Product Engineer at Huawei Technologies and Network Engineer at Telekom Romania. Gabriel holds an Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy, an engineering degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, and an MBA in Business/Managerial Economics from Academia de Studii Economice din București. Gabriel's foundational education includes a high school degree in Information Technology from Colegiul National de Informatica “Tudor Vianu.”
