Gert De Vos

Gert De Vos is the Head of Capex & Purchasing for Global R&D at ArcelorMittal, where they focus on optimizing laboratory equipment utilization and identifying synergies in purchasing lab consumables. Previously, Gert held roles as a research engineer and later as a leader in Capex and purchasing at ArcelorMittal, responsible for large-scale contract negotiations and investment follow-ups. Gert has also coordinated revamping projects at Electrabel Rodenhuize and contributed to research on the Bauschinger effect at OCAS. Gert is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at KAHO Sint-Lieven.
