John Melnick

John Melnick is the Chief Information Security and Compliance Officer for ArcelorMittal Steel Americas, overseeing cybersecurity and compliance across multiple countries in the Americas. In this role, John is responsible for the strategic vision of the security functions and has developed various initiatives, including the Corporate IT Sox Program and security awareness training campaigns. Prior to this position, John was the IT Audit Manager for the International Steel Group, where they successfully built the audit and security function. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Youngstown State University and a Master's degree in Information Security, Risk, and Governance from DePaul University.
