John Nielsen

John Nielsen has extensive experience in public service and the private sector. Currently serving as the Township Supervisor for East Fallowfield since January 2020, John also holds the position of Vice Chair on the Planning Commission, where accomplishments include completing a Master Planner training course and securing the Chester County VPP grant. Employed as a chemist at ArcelorMittal since November 1991, John is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing analytical instrumentation. Additionally, John has been an active Committee Person for the Chester County Democratic Committee since 2006, contributing as the Zone 4 Treasurer and a successful grassroots organizer. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Soil Science and Agronomy from Penn State University and furthered education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
